As long as projector is the proper distance from the screen, the height is less of a factor as long as the projector is not placed in a place that will cast shadows on the screen.  For example, putting a projector too low behind the golfer will cause a golfer shadow to appear on the screen.  Putting a projector too high when using a golf simulator enclosure could cause the top of the enclosure to cast a shadow on part of the screen.
