How to Clean and Prevent Dirty Golf Simulator ScreensUpdated 2 months ago
The first step in ensuring your SIGPRO Impact Screen has a long life and stays looking sharp, is to start with prevention!
Preventing Dirt and Stains
Keep your screen clean by using new, white golf balls free from dirt, scuffs, or permanent marker. Regularly clean your clubs to prevent dirt buildup from transferring onto the screen.
Safe Usage & Bounce-Back Prevention
For safety, always stand a minimum of 10-12 feet away from the screen. Standing closer increases the risk of ball bounce-back, which can lead to injury & increase the risk of damage to your screen.
Screen Durability & Wear
SIGPRO impact screens are made from heavy-duty fabrics designed to withstand the high impact of golf balls. However, like any material, they will show wear over time. Many of our screens are used in commercial facilities, where they endure constant use. The frequency of play, user skill level, and ball speed all contribute to screen longevity.
Sometimes, despite our best efforts things still happen, here are some tips on cleaning your SIGPRO Impact Screen
How to Clean Your Impact Screen
To remove dirt and stains, use a carpet shampooer. If the screen gets wet, do not let it air dry, as this can cause water stains. Instead, use a fan or a hairdryer on a low heat setting to dry the fabric quickly and evenly.
By following these care and usage tips, your impact screen will stay clean, durable, and ready for every swing!
