How to prevent excess ball bounce back in my golf simulatorUpdated 2 months ago

If your SIGPRO impact screen has excessive bounce-back, adjusting the screen’s tension and setup can help.  Here are some tips:

Loosen the Screen

Adjust the ball bungees, especially along the bottom edge. A screen that’s too tight can cause higher bounce-back, so reducing the number of bungees at the bottom may significantly decrease the effect. Some users have found that keeping the bottom of the screen slightly looser than the top and sides allows for better impact absorption.

Optimize Bungee Placement

Using more bungees along the top and sides to provide support while minimizing or eliminating bungees at the bottom. This adjustment helps the screen flex on impact, reducing the force that sends the ball rebounding back.  Some users have success by removing a bungee at intervals (like every other 3rd, or 4th bungee).

Add a Cushioning Layer

Hanging a thick material, such as a heavy-duty moving blanket or archery netting,  behind the screen can absorb additional impact energy, further minimizing bounce-back.  The SIGPRO Golf Simulator Blackout Screen can also service this purpose and are made specifically to fit our SIGPRO Screens.

By implementing these adjustments, you can create a safer and more enjoyable golf simulator experience with your SIGPRO impact screen.
